Gov’t Majik feat. Ten Spencer at Good Measure

Gov’t Majik is a New Orleans collective led by bassist and co-founder Bru Bruser and fronted by vocalist Ten Spencer. Self-described as “The Dirty South Afro-Beat Arkestra,” the band blends the music of Fela Kuti and other Afrobeat and Afrofunk pioneers with the funk, jazz, rap, and rock and roll of New Orleans, landing somewhere between Fela, OutKast, and Kool & the Gang.
