Arsene DeLay and Charlie Wooton are a New Orleans duo whose music draws from jazz, blues, funk, zydeco, rock, and hip-hop, anchored by DeLay’s powerhouse vocals and Wooton’s masterful bass work. Their album Blue Basso, re-released by Deco Records in 2024, showcases the chemistry and range that have made them one of the city’s most compelling collaborative pairings. Joined by Keiko Komaki, a New Orleans organist and pianist widely regarded as one of the most sought-after players in the city.
