ARTIST TALK: MARY T. SCINTO

Mary T. Scinto, our artist in residence, discusses The River I Know, her exhibition on view in The Gallery, in conversation with contemporary artist Ann Marie Auricchio and fine art specialist Christopher Dubois. The three will get into the inspiration and process behind the paintings, and what abstraction and authenticity look like in New Orleans.
The River I Know debuted on White Linen Night. Inspired by the Mississippi and its hold on the city, the exhibition pairs large-scale abstract paintings with smaller works tracing the shape of the river itself. We hope you will join us for the conversation and stay for a drink at our lobby bar or dinner in one of our restaurants.
