Chicago-born and Brooklyn-based, Jaime Woods is a Grammy Award-winning vocalist known for her sultry voice steeped in soul tradition. She has collaborated with artists like Emily King, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Alice Smith, and her debut EP “Troy” showcases her soulful sound.
Cavalier is a boundary-pushing rapper and producer known for his introspective lyricism and effortlessly cool delivery. Blending jazz-infused beats with thought-provoking storytelling, his sound is both soulful and cerebral, making each performance a hypnotic experience.
Grammy-nominated musician Jamison Ross is a powerhouse vocalist and masterful drummer who seamlessly blends jazz, R&B, and gospel into a sound that is both timeless and fresh. A winner of the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, Ross brings soulful storytelling and rich musicality to every performance. Whether behind the kit or at the mic, his artistry radiates warmth and authenticity, making for an unforgettable live experience.
Jon Cleary, a Grammy-winning New Orleans pianist, is celebrated for his deep mastery of funk, blues, and R&B, channeling the spirit of the Crescent City with every note. For this special performance, he’s joined by Pedro Segundo, a dynamic and versatile percussionist known for his electrifying rhythms and global influences. Together, they create a soulful, high-energy musical experience that blends New Orleans tradition with boundless improvisation.

With an unmistakable, freewheeling style, Los Cumpleaños mixes tropical rhythms and experimental sounds into an energetic, danceable, free-form musical experience. Citing influences as diverse as Colombian accordion legend Lisandro Meza, free jazz iconoclast Sun Ra and genre-defying tastemakers like Flying Lotus and Tame Impala, Los Cumpleaños is a group that could only emerge from the cultural landscape of New York City. This is their debut performance in New Orleans. They are supported by New Orleans-based Brazilian DJ C’est Funk. Show is free admission, first come first serve basis for standing room only.
