He honed his craft at Xavier University of Louisiana and has built a reputation as a performer who leaves nothing on the table. Essence Magazine named him one of their "New & Next Artists" in 2023, and the band performed at the 2025 BET Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show. Full bar on-site. No check-in required. Founded in 2005, the band made their Jazz Fest debut in 2007 and returned to the festival stage in 2026. Their 2023 EP The Bass Age features Parliament-Funkadelic saxophonist Greg Thomas.
